QA Engineer (Paris)

Job Description:

This is a mid-level QA Engineering position and it is most suitable for professionals with 2 or more years of experience in the field and interested in progressing in their career as a QA engineer in a client-focused business.

The candidate will work under the leadership and guidance of a test automation lead to design, build and execute automated test scripts within software development projects. The automation team plays an integral role on the QA process and is responsible of test automation and continuous integration monitoring.

Job Site:
  • Paris, France
  • Build, execute and debug automated functional and back-end tests.
  • Maintain existing suite of automated tests used by developers and manual test engineers.
  • Work with development and functional QA teams on automation test plan, priorities and scope.
  • Analyze user requirements and product architecture to derive testing requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure efficient and stable software builds in a continuous integration environment.
  • Diagnose and report test failures and bugs found by automation and support development team for issue resolution.
  • Perform manual testing as needed prior to automation.
  • Monitor and build on-demand client releases ensuring stable software deliveries.
  • Report testing progress to test automation lead.
Minimum Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA.
  • C/C++/C# programming knowledge in .Net.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
  • Experience on API usage/development.
  • Prior manual or automated testing experience.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Basic knowledge in mathematics, finance and financial calculation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible, “can do” attitude that enables the individual to deal comfortably with a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
  • Self-motivated and good team player.
